CommentsBlooming: Shining Oregon grape (Berberis aquifolium) and Creeping Oregon grape (Berberis repens). Northwestern Saxifrage (Saxifraga integrifolia), Small-flowered Prairie Star (Lithophragma parviflorum), Pungent Desert Parsley (Lomatium grayi), Salt & Pepper (Lomatium piperi), Gold Stars (Crocidium multicaule), Filaree (Erodium cicutarium), Spring Whitlow-grass (Draba verna). Grass Widows (Olsynium douglasii) mostly gone. Pacific Waterleaf (Hydrophyllum capitatum) along the lower trail (parallel to Highway 14). One isolated group of Desert Shooting Stars (Dodecatheon conjugens). Two isolated sightings of Panicled Death Camas (Zigadenus paniculatus) near the base of the butte. Lots of Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) and lupine leaves, but still no blooms.
