CommentsIt`s still early but there are a few things blooming. By far the most prevalent wildflowers are Grass Widows (Olsynium douglasii). There are hundreds of them along the Old Ranch Trail (#4426) Coyote Wall Trail (#4428), and Traverse Trail (#4427), with more still yet to open.

There are also abundant Smooth Prairie Stars (Lithophragma glabrum) and Piper`s Desert Parsley (Lomatium piperi), especially along the Little Maui Trail (#4425). There are some patches of Columbia Desert Parsley (Lomatium columbianum) along Trail #4425 but it is not quite blooming yet. (Also see Labyrinth trip report for the same date.)
