| Comments | Tom Lorence reports that the profuse Columbia Gorge Arnica (Arnica amplexicaulis var. piperi) and Columbia Lily (Lilium columbianum) have started to bloom. Also blooming along the Eagle Creek Trail: Rosy Plectritis (Plectritis congesta), Pacific Ninebark (Physocarpus capitates), Goat`s Beard (Aruncus dioicus), Farewell-to-Spring (Clarkia amoena), cliff penstemon (Penstemon rupicola), broadleaf stonecrop (Sedum spathulifolium). White Shooting Star (Primula Dentatum) was spotted blooming on the hillside just before walking behind Tunnel Falls. See his photos in the OW Facebook group. |
