Wildflower Report for Tom McCall Nature Preserve

Comments	Took the trail up to Tom McCall Point really didn't see much in the way of flowers after the "warning sign" at the first switch back. But between the parking lot and that sign along and in the areas on each side of the trail saw lots of grass widows, some Gold Stars (Coridium multicaule), a few Columbia Desert Parsely (Lomatium columbianum), lots of Spring Whitlow-grass (Draba verna) and quite a bit of salt and pepper (Lomatium piperi). The trail was damp from rain the previous two days but not slippery. In one sheltered area towards the top there was a small patch of snow. At Tom McCall Point there were no flowers; but still a spectacular view.
