| Comments | We saw some rare Calypso orchids right before you take the corner to see the falls! On the right side of the trail. We couldn`t believe it! Oregon grape flowers were peaking. We also saw red-flowering current, arctic sweet Colt`s foot aka Arctic butterbur, whipplea modesta, western trilliums, and Pacific Hound`s tongue on a gravel road nearby. Also, if you`ve never been to Moon Falls, consider packing a picnic! There is literally a picnic table AT the falls, it`s so wonderful. One of my fav waterfalls hikes. Plus we had the whole trail and falls to ourselves the entire time we were there! :) |
