CommentsThe season is progressing nicely. Seen in bloom: * Grass widows -- Olsynium douglasii * Yellow bells -- Fritillaria pudica * Small-flowered prairie stars -- Lithophragma parviflorum * Northwestern saxifrage -- Saxifraga integrifolia * Western buttercup -- Ranunculus occidentalis * Glacier lily -- Erythronium grandiflorum * Oaks toothwort -- Cardamine pulcherrima * Salt and pepper -- Lomatium piperi * Columbia desert parsely -- Lomatium columbianum * Pungent desert parsley -- Lomatium grayi * Gold stars -- Crocidium multicaule * Small-flowered blue-eyed mary -- Collinsia parviflora The first of the balsam-root flower heads were also showing, although they're not yet ready to open.
