Comments | Catherine Creek paved trail: Grass widows were just about gone, replaced by saxifrage as the dominant visible bloom. In addition to the flowers described by Greg Lief in his 3/22 trip report, the following were sighted: Naked broomrape (Orobanche uniflore), which is a parasite on the saxifrage, photo attached with both in it. Pink Filaree geranium (Erodium cicutarium), Meadow Death-Camas (Zigadenus venenosus var. venenosus), and the first blooming Camas lily! |
