CommentsThe bluff at Rowena Crest west/next to the Viewpoint and above the curves was surprisingly bare of blooming flowers when I very briefly stopped by there on my way home from Catherine Creek. All the Grass Widow seen earlier in the year were gone (to be expected) and most of the Yellow Bells too. A few very early Balsamroot buds were just starting to show a few petals of color, but theses were just early bloomers the big show is a ways off. There were still saw a lot of Glacier Lilies among the oaks down in the curves as I drove by.
