CommentsWildflowers here are late in blooming.Saxifrage is still dominant on the basalt walls, some of it with the red fruit beginning to show. Prairie stars, the little monkey flower, small-flowered blue eyed Mary are in bloom. A few chocolate lilies and dutchmen's britches were blooming. Shooting stars are just starting, as are waterleaf, delphinium and rosy plectritis.Highlight was two calypso orchids!
