CommentsThe high prairie meadows are now full of shooting stars and Ranunculus, with some march marigold, the asters are just starting to bloom. Upper rock gardens have sulfur buckwheat, paintbrush, lupine, penstemon, scarlet gilia, yarrow, calochortus .... Forest has lousewart a bit of heather, and tons of that tiny huckleberry. A few snowdrifts remain. Butterflies abound, and the biting bugs were not a problem.
