CommentsI am unable to give you a detailed name description of the many flowers, but I can give you a report from a photographers viewpoint. On the lower trail, at the parking level, some of the Balsam Root blooms are starting to wilt and not look so fresh. This is not to say it wasn't enjoyable to view. Many of the other visitors that day expressed loving the beauty. The Lupine were abundant as well as many other varieties. I didn't see any Paint brush at this level. The higher McCall Point trail did have some very nice patches of Indian Paintbrush mixed in once you start to gain in elevation. This contributed greatly to my picture taking experience. The Balsamroot were a bit fresher looking. I could see that there were still more Lupine yet to bloom. This section was well worth the hike. Enjoy
