CommentsBlooming now: Small-flowered Lupine (Lupinus micranthus), lots of Common Camas (Camassia quamash) with more on the way, Meadow Death-Camas (Zigadenus venenosus var. venenosus), Small-flowered Blue-eyed Mary (Collinsia parviflora), Bicolored Cluster Lily (Brodiaea howellii) especially between the waterfall viewpoint and the boardwalk, Chickweed Monkey Flower (Mimulus alsinoides), Small-flowered Prairie Star (Lithophragma parviflorum), Filaree* (Erodium cicutarium), Western Saxifrage (Saxifraga occidentalis), Western Buttercup (Ranunculus occidentalis), False Agoseris (Nothocalais troximoides) along the upper trail, Upland Larkspur (Delphinium nuttallianum) especially next to upper trail, Poet's Shooting Star (Dodecatheon poeticum), Gold Star (Crocidium multicaule), Pungent Desert Parsley (Lomatium grayi), Piper's Desert Parsley (Lomatium piperi), Bare-stem Desert Parsley (Lomatium nudicaule), Nine-leaf Desert Parsley (Lomatium triternatum var. triternatum), Miner's Lettuce (Claytonia perfoliata), Rigid Fiddleneck (Amsinckia retrorsa). Dutchman's Breeches (Dicentra cucullaria) are on their last legs under the oaks near the creek along the upper trail.

Above the old corral: Oaks Toothwort (Cardamine pulcherrima) blooming, Big-head Clover (Trifolium macrocephalum), Chocolate Lily (Fritillaria lanceolata) and Ball-Head Waterleaf (Hydrophyllum capitatum var. thompsonii) starting to bloom. Columbia Gorge Lupine (Lupinus latifolius var. thompsonianus) should be blooming very soon (there is plenty blooming along the old highway).

Blooming above the arch: Slender Popcorn Flower (Plagiobothrys tenellus), Northwest Balsamroot (Balsamorhiza deltoidea), Naked Broomrape (Orobanche uniflora var. purpurea), Baby Star (Linanthus bicolor),

Lots of Poison Oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum) along the upper trail... watch your step!
