| Comments | Trail of Ten Falls: In bloom are stream violet (Viola glabella), western trillium (Trillium ovatum), salmonberry (Rubus spectabilis), Oregon fawn lily (Erythronium oreganum), evergreen violet (Viola sempervirens), Scouler’s corydalis (Corydalis scouleri), large-flowered blue-eyed mary (Collinsia grandiflora), Sitka mistmaiden (Romanzoffia sitchensis), chickweed monkeyflower (Mimulus alsinoides), heartleaf twayblade (Listera cordata), redwood sorrel (Oxalis oregana) & Pacific bleeding heart (Dicentra formosa) not far behind. Some redwool saxifrage (Saxifraga aequidentata) & Hall’s lomatium (Lomatium hallii), indian-plum (Oemleria cerasiformis), slender toothwort (Cardamine nuttallii), skunk cabbage (Lysichiton americanus), & spring queen (Synthyris reniformis). Also, fairy slipper (Calypso bulbosa) in full bloom on Rim Trail. |
