| Comments | Lower meadow was in full bloom: broadleaf lupine, subalpine mariposa lily, magenta paintbrush, Menzies' larkspur, rosy spirea, sitka valerian, sitka columbine, subalpine aster, corn lily. The upper meadow was snow free but there was little blooming other than the subalpine mariposa lily higher on the slopes. On the way up to saddle in the dry scree I saw one western pasqueflower, and what I think was alpine willowherb. |
