Wildflower Report for Memaloose Hills

LocationMemaloose Hills
ReporterNina and Jim
CommentsWe walked from the overlook 1.1 mile south. There were impressive carpets of Blue eyed Mary (Collinsia parviflora) everywhere. Balsamroot still has 2 weeks to go even though there are some nice clumps. Lovely bunches of Naked Broomrape (Orobanche uniflora) was found 3/4 of the way up the trail. All told we saw 34 varieties of flowers.
