CommentsThe most prevalent wildflowers are Grass Widows (Olsynium douglasii), thousands of which carpet the hillside. Also profuse are Smooth Prairie Star (Lithophragma glabrum) and Salt-and-Pepper (Lomatium piperi).

Pungent Desert Parsley (Lomatium grayi) and Bigroot (Marah oreganus) are starting to bloom. Several patches of Gold Stars (Crocidium multicaule) were blooming at lower elevations.
