CommentsJeffrey Barker reports that wildflowers are profuse at the trailhead, including scalloped onion (Allium crenulatum), Subalpine mariposa lily (Calochortus subalpinus), Globe gilia (Gilia capitatum), long-spurred lupine (Lupinus arbustus), Cliff Penstemon (Penstemon rupicola), broadleaf stonecrop (Sedum spathufolium), littleleaf miner`s lettuce (Montia parvifolia), Fine-toothed penstemon (Penstemon subserratus), Harsh Paintbrush (Castilleja hispida), Oregon catchfly (Silene oregana), and Greene`s drymocallis (Drymocallis glandulosa).
