CommentsNow blooming: lots of False Lily-of-the-Valley (Maianthemum dilatatum) and Fairy Lanterns (Prosartes smithii), enormous amounts of Salal (Gaultheria shallon), Candyflower (Claytonia sibirica), Monkeyflower (Mimulus guttatus) at regular intervals, Wood Violet (Viola glabella), Angled Bittercress (Cardamine angulata), Fringe Cup (Tellima grandiflora), Salmonberry (Rubus spectabilis), Wild Strawberry (Fragaria virginiana), Youth-On-Age (Tolmiea mensziesii), Thimbleberry (Rubus parviflorus), and Goatsbeard (Aruncus dioicus) just starting.

Blooming on the steep hillsides at the end of the trail: Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja hispida), Spring Gold (Lomatium utriculatum), Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), and Douglas' Catchfly (Silene douglasii).
