Blooming in the forest: thimbleberry <I>(Rubus parviflorus)</i>, western white anemone <I>(Anemone deltoidea)</I>, bunchberry <I>(Cornus canadensis)</I>, vanilla leaf <I>(Achlys triphylla)</I>, Sitka valerian <I>(Valeriana sitchensis)</I>, starry false Solomon's Seal <I>(Maianthemum stellatum)</I>, foamflower <I>(Tiarella cordifolia)</I>, woods strawberry <I>(Fragaria vesca)</I>, prince's-pine <I>(Chimaphila umbellata)</I>, candystick <I>(Allotropa virgata)</I>, pink wintergreen <I>(Pyrola asarifolia)</I>, western coralroot <I>(Corallorhiza mertensiana)</I>, western starflower <I>(Trientalis latifolia)</I>, and queen's cup <I>(Clintonia uniflora)</I>. <P> Blooming in the first several meadows: lots of bracken fern <I>(Pteridium aquilinum)</I>, western coneflower <I>(Rudbeckia occidentalis)</I>, tiger lily <I>(Lilium columbianum)</I>, false hellebore <I>(Veratrum viride)</I>, western columbine <I>(Aquilegia formosa)</I>, arrow-leaf groundsel <I>(Senecio triangularis)</I>, and tall bluebells <I>(Mertensia paniculata)</I>. <P> Blooming in the rocky area at the first viewpoint: cat's-ear <I>(Calochortus subalpinus)</I>, Menzies' larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>, yellow monkeyflower <I>(Mimulus guttatus)</I>, broadleaf lupine <I>(Lupinus latifolius)</I>, and sulphur buckwheat <I>(Eriogonum umbellatum)</I>. <P> Blooming in the meadows near the summit: cat's-ear <I>(Calochortus subalpinus)</I>, scarlet gilia <I>(Ipomopsis aggregata)</I>, spreading phlox <I>(Phlox diffusa)</I>, blue field gilia <I>(Gilia capitata)</I>, Menzies' larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>, and broadleaf lupine <I>(Lupinus latifolius)</I>. <P> There is a profusion of beargrass <I>(Xerophyllum tenax)</I> starting after the first viewpoint. There is also an <B>enormous</B> amount of Queen Anne's lace <I>(Daucus carota)</I> starting after the first viewpoint and continuing all the way to the summit.
