Blooming in the meadows near the summit: cat's-ear <I>(Calochortus subalpinus)</I>, scarlet gilia <I>(Ipomopsis aggregata)</I>, spreading phlox <I>(Phlox diffusa)</I>,
blue field gilia <I>(Gilia capitata)</I>, Menzies' larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>, and broadleaf lupine <I>(Lupinus latifolius)</I>.

There is a profusion of beargrass <I>(Xerophyllum tenax)</I> starting after the first viewpoint. There is also an <B>enormous</B> amount of Queen Anne's lace <I>(Daucus carota)</I> starting after the first viewpoint and continuing
all the way to the summit.
