Lots of Scouler's Corydalis <I>(Corydalis scouleri)</I> starting to bloom between the parking area and the old dam. Also blooming are: salmonberry <I>(Rubus spectabilis)</I>, Western trillium <I>(Trillium ovatum)</I> (past peak), shining Oregon-grape <I>(Mahonia aquifolium)</I>, Wood Violets <I>(Viola glabella)</I>, Sweet Colt's Foot <I>(Petasites frigidus)</I>, Slender Toothwort <I>(Cardamine pulcherrima</I> var. <I>tenella)</I>, Candy Flower <I>(Montia sibirica)</I>, Western Saxifrage <I>(Saxifraga occidentalis)</I>, and Western Meadowrue <I>(Thalictrum occidentale)</I>. One isolated patch of Dutchman's Breeches <I>(Dicentra cucullaria)</I> past peak on the hillside just before the wooden steps. <P> Plenty of Columbia Kittentails <I>(Synthyris missurica ssp. stellata)</I> are covering the boulders next to the footbridge just downstream from the waterfall. Very nice patch of <a href="http://flickr.com/photos/cheryl_hill/2432298851/" target="_blank">Glacier Lilies</a> <I>(Erythronium grandiflorum)</I> blooming on one of the boulders a bit downstream from the footbridge. Red-flowered Currant <I>(Ribes sanguineum)</I> blooming on the rocky hillside adjacent to the trail downstream from the waterfall.
