Cape Horn Trail OWF 06/24/2008 Saw lots of flowers during the hike, here are all of the ones was able to identify - with help from Greg Lief: Foxglove purple and white (Digitalis purpurea) J529, T&G370 Ox-eye Daisy (Chrysanthemum leucanthemum) J719 Pacific Bleeding Hearts (Dicentra formosa) J161, T&G323 Poison delphinium (Delphinium trolliifolium) J137, T&G423 Menzies'/Cliff larkspur (Delphinium menziesii) J134, T&G421 Red/Sitka columbine (Aquilegia formosa) J127, T&G355 Columbia/Tiger lily (Lilium columbianum) J29, T&G298 Farewell to Spring (Clarkia amoena) J358, T&G326 Fine-tooth penstemon (Penstemon subserratus) J563, T&G434 Oregon Flag/Toughleaf (Iris tenax) J46, T&G400 Oregon Sunshine (Eriophyllum lanatum) J730, T&G287 Nootka Rose (Rosa Nutkana) J261, T&G359 Self-heal (Prunella vulgaris (J509, T&G424 Western Solomon's Plume (Smilacina racemosa) J31 Inside-out flower (Vancouveria hexandra) J156, T&G59 plus these whose variety I could not positively ID: buttercups, clover, lupines, paintbrush, a flower resembling the Small-flowered lotus (but pinkish purple, double flowers on long stem no bracts near the top), a large Monkey Flower (blossoms about .75 inch across green stems), wall flower, yarrow.
