Last weekend, I hiked the Rogue Trail (north side of the river) between the Graves Creek bridge to just past Whisky Creek, and the flowers were just spectacular. Among others: red larkspur (Delphinium nudicale), red bells (Fritillaria recurva), madia, huge patches of Sea Blush (Plectritis congesta), Mimulus guttatus and M. alsinoides, Lithophragma, Orobanche uniflora, Madia, Dichelostemma, Nemophilia sp., Cryptantha sp, and others too numerous to mention. Check my Flickr page (listed above) for photos. Flowers are right about at peak bloom now - if you're anywhere near southwest Oregon, don't miss it!
