The wildflowers in the hanging meadows are near their peak right now, with copious amounts of Harsh Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja hispida)</I>, Few-Flowered Shooting Star <I>(Dodecatheon pulchellum)</I>, and Upland Larkspur <I>(Delphinium nuttallianum)</I>. Watch out for the poison oak lining the trail in the forested areas!
