No surprise, dozens of wildflower varieties blooming in this state natural area – among them asters, bleeding heart, checker mallow, coltsfoot, columbine, fairybells, larkspur, mustard, Oregon iris, paintbrush, penstemon, phlox, thimbleberry; especially delightful were the thousands of purple Oregon iris.
