| Comments | Western trillium (Trillium ovatum) and giant white wakerobin (Trillium albidum) still blooming, though slightly past peak. Also blooming are: oaks toothwort (Cardamine pulcherrima), wood violets (Viola glabella), shining Oregon-grape (Mahonia aquifolium), red elderberry (Sambucus racemosa), Indian Plum (Osmaronia cerasiformis), salmonberry (Rubus spectabilis) especially along the creek, and Western skunk cabbage (Lysichitum americanus) in wet areas near the creek. Pacific waterleaf (Hydrophyllum tenuipes) is everywhere, and should be blooming very soon. |
