After seeing Elly Hutchinson`s report from last week, we decided to visit today. The balsamroot is as good as we have ever seen it! Many other things are also in bloom. I have tried not to duplicate anything in her original report.
The only downside is that dirt bikers also like to visit Bald Butte. But even with that annoyance we were still glad that we went.
