Blooming in the forest: Western Starflower <I>(Trientalis latifolia)</I>, Wood Strawberry <I>(Fragaria vesca)</I>, Candyflower <I>(Claytonia sibirica)</I>, Salal <I>(Gaultheria shallon)</I>, Fairy slipper <I>(Calypso bulbosa)</I>, and Redwood Sorrel <I>(Oxalis oregana)</I>. <P> Blooming in the meadows: the most profuse species are currently Rosy Plectritis <I>(Plectritis congesta)</I>, Yellow Monkeyflower <I>(Mimulus guttatus)</I>, Meadow Death-Camas <I>(Zigadenus venenosus)</I>, Tapertip Onion <I>(Allium acuminatum)</I>, Harsh Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja hispida)</I>, Western Buttercup <I>(Ranunculus occidentalis)</I>, Oregon Sunshine <I>(Eriophyllum lanatum)</I>, and Menzies' Larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>. <P> Other species blooming in the meadows include: Oregon Fawn Lily <I>(Erythronium oregonum)</I>, Hairy Indian Paintbrush <I>(Castilleja tenuis)</I>, Wild Strawberry <I>(Fragaria virginiana)</I>, Sticky Cinquefoil <I>(Potentilla glandulosa)</I>, Annual Agoseris <I>(Agoseris heterophylla)</I>, Large-Flowered Blue-Eyed Mary <I>(Collinsia grandiflora)</I>, Small-Flowered Blue-Eyed Mary <I>(Collinsia parviflora)</I>, Chickweed Monkeyflower <I>(Mimulus alsinoides)</I>, Spring Gold <i>(Lomatium utriculatum)</i>, Western Saxifrage <I>(Saxifraga rufidula)</I>, and Henderson's shooting star <I>(Dodecatheon hendersonii)</I> (though mostly past peak).
