It is still a bit early but some early bloomers can be seen. In bloom are sticky whiteleaf manzanita (<I>Arctostaphylos viscida</I>), wedge-leaved violet (<I>Viola cuneata</I>), few-flowered shooting star (<I>Dodecatheon pulchellum</I>), Oregon-myrtle (<I>Umbellularia californica</I>), box-leaved silktassel (<I>Garrya buxifolia</I>), woodrush (<I>Luzula</I> sp.), checker lily (<I>Fritillaria affinis</I>), Siskiyou mat (<I>Ceanothus pumilus</I>), and western serviceberry (<I>Amelanchier anifolia</I>).
