CommentsWe found Dutchman's Breetches (Dicentra cucullaria) just beginning to bloom along the trail down near the creek above old Highway 8 at Catherine Creek... growing in a small patch of oak tucked into the cliff not far from the creek. There were also Grass Widows, beginning to fade already, Gold Stars, Praire Stars, various Saxigrages, Yellow Bells, and others (not all of which I have ID'd yet).
