CommentsGrass Widows (Olsynium douglasii) are blooming everywhere, and there are still more on the way.

Several patches of Columbia Desert Parsley (Lomatium columbianum) are starting to bloom along the lower paved trail and at higher elevations north of the parking area. Tiny Salt & Pepper (Lomatium piperi) is blooming everywhere. Western Saxifrage (Saxifraga occidentalis) is on the way. Also starting to bloom at higher elevations are Gold Stars (Crocidium multicaule) and Small-flowered Prairie Stars (Lithophragma parviflorum).
