CommentsCamas and Death Camas just beginning to bloom covered the grassy hillsides above Old Highway 8, shooting stars, prairie stars, monkey face, gold stars, butter cups, balsamroot (north of the arch on the ledge below/West of the trail), chocolate lilies on the slope across the trail/road from the cattle shoot, miners lettuce, and even one sprig of Dutchman's Breeches. Also bright red leaflets of poison oak in all your favorite PO locations ;-) This week/end should be really nice for wildflowers at CC.
