CommentsAimee Wade reports that although the balsamroot is just getting started, there are a number of other varieties in bloom including: Yellow Bell (Fritillaria pudica), Pungent Desert Parsley (Lomatium grayii), Smooth prairie star (Lithophragma glabrum), Poet`s shooting star (Dodecatheon poeticum), and Menzie`s Larkspur (Delphinium menziesii).
