Aimee Wade reports that although the balsamroot is just getting started, there are a number of other varieties in bloom including: Yellow Bell <I>(Fritillaria pudica)</I>, Pungent Desert Parsley <I>(Lomatium grayii)</I>, Smooth prairie star <I>(Lithophragma glabrum)</I>, Poet`s shooting star <I>(Dodecatheon poeticum)</I>, and Menzie`s Larkspur <I>(Delphinium menziesii)</I>.
