| Comments | It is still a bit early, but several natives are in bloom. Willamette Valley bittercress (Cardamine penduliflora) is at its peak. Wild strawberry (Fragaria virginiana var. platypetala) and wholeleaf saxifrage (Saxifraga integrifolia) are also in bloom. Bradshaw’s lomatium (Lomatium bradshawii) is in flower but may be peaking in about a week. Oregon saxifrage (Saxifraga oregana) is getting close but perhaps a couple of weeks away. Camas (Camassia spp.) is leafing out but about three weeks away. |
